Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales Representative
Responsible for responding to all potential customer inquiries and preparing quotes to obtain business. Assist with implementation of a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence. Achieve sales targets and objectives by successfully working with the Customer Service team.
Contact new and existing customers regarding new business opportunities.
Meet with customers to discuss their grinding needs. Effectively communicate Aggressive Grinding Service’s capabilities.
Communicate with Management Team to discuss new business and identify the work needed to fill available capacity.
Coordinate and consult with Managers for determining actual cycle times for accurate pricing of jobs.
Schedule and attend customer-related meetings, lunches, events and plant tours.
Provide customer feedback and information to Management Team.
Act as liaison between customers and production team.
Job Skills Required:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Customer Service or Sales position.
Previous experience in the carbide, ceramic, grinding, machining or manufacturing environment preferred.
Detail oriented, excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Previous experience with ShopTech E2 system, or comparable.
Some travel may be required, less than 10% to mainly local customers and events.
